It starts with you, in your little corner.
I have been sufficiently oppressed this week. I’m in school doing my clearance. I have to go from one office after another with a form and the office occupants are supposed to clear me so I can get my statement of result etc.
One office after another and these people won’t just sit down in one place.
Seriously it takes below 2 minutes to put a signature on my form and I’d be out of your hair and on my way to save the world but hell no! They kept me waiting for hours!
“Come back in 2hours. He is not on seat”
What the hell does that even mean?
Calm down sir! I am not here to collect his body fluids to analyse it for presence of ebola virus. All he has to do is one jagajaga thing they call signature for crying out loud.
My subconscious screamed.
Someone should attach these seats to their butts cus I am tired of this attitude. I should be used to this behaviour but I am not.
In my undergraduate years we waited for a lot of people like college officer and after waiting 3-4hours she’ll just stand up and tell everyone to come back tomorrow.
A lot of times my subconscious pulled a sword but I held her back and calmed her down
These people frustrated innocent me for ordinary signature, but will join in saying people are corrupt and leaders oppress us. Just imagine if they were in charge of distribution of oxygen.
It starts in your little corner.
I finally finished the damn clearance and got everything I came for and yes I shamelessly ran after bus with freshers.
I have no shame.
I got wooed by undergraduates and ofcourse I waited on tipped toes for them to ask me “what level”
So I can drop the “Oh….I graduated” line😆
I wore shades too to allow me stare at people to my satisfaction. Yes. I am creepy. I also went thrifting cus the trade fair people camped in school. Anticipate my thrift post in no time flat.
