I don’t know if it’s just me, but have you noticed how people are in relationships and they put up pictures all over social media on date nights, pictures of them having breakfast in bed, of them pooing together, getting through a flu together, brushing each other’s teeth, and wiping each other’s bum after taking a shit together?
Most times I’m looking at these pictures and saying “awwwn….God please make it happen for me too!”
When I am not on my secret agent duties, I like every single picture just to show support and to get noticed so that I would be bestowed with the super power of sharing their wedding jellof rice and I am genuinely happy for them.
Then all of a sudden, I come online and check out their page and not one picture of them with their partner is there! (The Internet never forgets)
No explanation. Nothing. The heartless people broke up!
*drammatically removes wig*
Do you have any idea how much data I spent drooling over your pictures? How much time i spent? Time is money so breaking my heart wasnt enough you had to take my money? I can never get back the time I spent so you also took some minutes/hours of my life! Money is power so you took away my power too!😭
I was minding my business, prolly twiddling my thumbs, thinking of ways to stop the spread of HIV and you came and lured me into the cyber sunset with your picture perfect life😭. I deserve an explanation!😏
I know some people will say it’s none of my business…
It’s like showing me a movie and just when I am interested you switch off the TV? That’s not fair. Why are you holding out when you were willingly giving out information? And then you resurface with a new boyfriend and expect me to not be a ghost follower?
I am still recovering from the last heart break😩
It doesn’t work that way!
I feel people should date privately perhaps not in real life but on social media. So we can reduce the increasing number of “my bae is the world’s best man” in febuary and “men are trash” captions in November.
So it is definitely a “meh” for me.
